We are delighted to be able to announce that St Oscar Romero Catholic School in Worthing has been given the go-ahead to establish a sixth form from September 2024.

The School has worked exceptionally hard to make this happen, so it is fantastic to be able to pass on such great news on something that will benefit students, parents, staff and Catholic education in general for generations to come.  

Not only will students have Catholic education available locally through to 18 but they will continue to benefit from the family environment, high standards and wide curriculum delivery that they currently enjoy through to 16. As just a few comments from the latest (May 2023) Ofsted Report testify:

“There is enough evidence of improved performance to suggest that the school could be judged outstanding if we were to carry out a Section 5 inspection now.

“Pupils follow an ambitious curriculum... Personal Development is superb.”
