St Catherine's Catholic Primary School, Littlehampton, was delighted to welcome the school's local MP, Alison Griffiths, to the school on Friday, to speak with pupils about her role as a Member of Parliament and the work she does to represent the local community in Bognor Regis and Littlehampton.

Writing on Facebook, the school shared that "Our pupils had the opportunity to learn more about what an MP does, how decisions are made, and the ways in which elected representatives can help bring about change. The visit also gave pupils the chance to ask some challenging and thoughtful questions, which had been gathered by our School Council.

"It was fantastic to see our pupils engaging so confidently in discussions about important issues and developing their understanding of democracy, representation, and having their voices heard. We are incredibly proud of the curiosity, maturity, and thoughtfulness they showed throughout the visit.

"A big thank you to Alison for taking the time to visit us and for answering our pupils’ questions so openly."
