25 people from a wide range of Christian, Hindu and Muslim communities in Woking, including two local Imams and local Councillors, attended an interfaith breakfast at a local Asian restaurant recently, organised by Woking People of Faith. It was a great social occasion and opportunity to share conversations about local community issues and initiatives.
Woking People of Faith aim to create a more cohesive society by promoting harmony, and developing friendships through gatherings like the breakfast, which was held at a local Asian restaurant. The morning offered an opportunity to socialise and to share conversations about local community issues and initiatives - helping to build understanding, strengthen friendships, and promote community harmony.
