Fr Jonathan How joined diocesan teams based at The St Philip Howard Centre in Crawley on Saturday (16 November), welcoming people from across Sussex and Surrey to our Annual Volunteer Forum webinar.

The work and mission of diocesan church communities is supported by more than 3,000 volunteers, who give their time and talents in the service of the Church. Saturday's event - which took place over two hours online - offered staff from our Health & Safety, Property, Gift Aid and Finance teams a valuable opportunity to share information and important updates, with time also given to audience Questions & Answers.

Speaking earlier this week, diocesan COO, Sarah Kilmartin said:

"We were delighted to welcome attendees from across our parishes to Saturday's webinar. The annual Volunteer Forum offers an important opportunity for diocesan colleagues to talk to people supporting the Church's mission across the Diocese. Holding the forum online allows us to reach a wider audience, with the Q&A facility providing an important, interactive opportunity to answer questions across a range of issues."
