On Friday 20 March, children in schools across England and Wales, including in our own diocese, were invited to pray the Stations of the Cross together with The Mark 10 Mission, who aimed to introduce them to this traditional Lenten devotion in an engaging and accessible way by providing online Stations of the Cross designed specifically for children.
Bishop Gerard Bradley, a newly-ordained Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of Southwark who will also celebrate our diocesan Chrism Mass at Arundel Cathedral on 1 April, joined Georgia Clarke from the Archdiocese of Southwark, and Greg Finn from The Mark 10 Mission to present a half-hour Stations of the Cross reflection for young people.
Filmed at St Anthony of Padua Church, Anerley, London, the video guides children prayerfully through all fourteen Stations of the Cross, pausing at each station to reflect, wonder and pray.
