February 24, 2022

Lent begins next week with a range of online resources available to help us prepare and reflect as the celebration of Easter approaches.

CAFOD are providing an online calendar of Lenten daily prayer and reflection, offering an opportunity to 'pause, reflect, pray and take action' as we prepare for Easter. To sign up to receive a daily email from CAFOD and journey through the season of Lent with our global family click here.

CELEBRATE@Home are offering a 'Journey through Lent' with everything in their resource pack 'designed to help families connect with God, their family and others'. CELEBRATE suggest ways to engage with the activities but it's completely up to you how you use them.

Pact, the Catholic prisons charity, is sharing a new Stations of the Cross liturgy with parishes. The simple text includes the words of prisoners, people with convictions and people who have served a ‘hidden sentence’ alongside a family member in prison. Next month, Bishop Richard, the Liaison Bishop for Prisons, will be making the Stations of the Cross using this text, in the chapel of a women’s prison. You can find out more here.

Arundel Cathedral is offering Mass on Ash Wednesday (2March) at 10am and 7pm. To find a church near you please visit our website.
