We can't wait to welcome new, and returning members of our Invited family

Our Invited mission began last year, bringing people from across the Diocese (and far beyond) together in faith, online. Season II launches after Easter, during Eastertide – the weeks between Easter and Pentecost.

Season I allowed us to explore the basic message of the Gospel; that we are created by a God of love, for a perfect relationship of love with him. Sadly, our brokenness, weakness, and wounded nature means that we often turn away from Him – struggling to find our own paths to the peace and joy that only He can bring.

Season I was a bit of a cliff-hanger, because that is not the end – Jesus came to help us to restore that relationship with our creator and Father, all we have to do is say 'yes' to the gift of reconciliation and life that he offers, yet saying yes is not always easy. Season II, ‘Growing in Faith’ is all about day-to-day experiences, the good and the bad, the highs and the lows - Join us, as we explore what it really means to be a follower, or disciple of Jesus.

How will Season II work?

Beginning Monday 18 April, and continuing each Monday throughout the Easter Season, a new episode will be released on our Invited webpage, enabling you to watch great speakers, hear wonderful testimony, and engage in a time of prayer and reflection.

We recommend you dig out the journal you were using last year - or treat yourself to a new one if this is your first season - as there will be questions for you to explore and write about.

You will need to bring these journal responses to a conversation that will take place later in the week which will take one of two forms;

- Your Parish will host a local conversations in person

- You will be able to join or Diocesan wide online conversation every Thursday - beginning 21 April.

This is a great time in the Church’s calendar to learn from the Early Church, as so many of the readings are about the experiences of the first Christians - we will spend time looking at the readings for the coming Sunday during these conversations .

Check your local Parish Newsletter to see whether there are in person groups running - or contact your parish office.
