Invited 2021 - the mission continues!

March 29, 2021

Invited has brought hundreds of people together in faith, but there is much more still to come.

We have now reached the end of Invited: Season One. We are so pleased with the way it has connected with so many of you; over 10,000 views of the episodes, with hundreds of people joining our Conversations on Thursday evenings - and lots of people using the material in local prayer and parish groups.

There are some updates that we would love to draw your attention to:

Please visit our Invited page to access some wonderful Holy Week resources including reflections for adults and young people. The reflection questions in each document will help you to explore this most sacred of weeks, focussing particularly on the triduum. You can also access an 'Easter Glossary of terms' and 'Easter Terminology Explained', both documents help to unpack some of the words and phrases used during Easter.

Please download the 'Getting Involved' booklet

This resource highlights the many ways you can get involved in the Church both locally and across our Diocese. We hope that you will be engaged and inspired by the wide range of opportunities available, continuing our shared work of mission. Contact details are provided with each entry and we welcome people getting in touch, even if it’s just to find out more!

We are now beginning to plan for Season 2 of Invited and are very keen to gather as much feedback as possible. Please take a couple of minutes to complete this survey. We would be really grateful; there are lots of opportunities in it to make comments, suggestions and to contribute to the planning of future seasons. If you completed the poll during our most recent Thursday meeting, you are very welcome to complete this one too!

Look out for information on a season of talks in the Autumn called Season 1: A Deep Dive, during which we will be inviting speakers to pick up the themes of Season 1 and develop them further. In the meantime, thank you so much for your support and your prayers for Invited. We wish you a peaceful and blessed Holy Week and a happy Easter,

The Invited Team
