The induction Mass for Gemma Willcox, new Head of School at St Charles Borromeo, Weybridge, took place on Sunday in the parish church of Christ the King of Peace.

It was a joyful celebration with family, friends, Xavier Catholic Education Trust (CET) colleagues and fellow Heads joining the diocesan Education Service and parish community in praying for Gemma as she takes up her post. Bishop Richard reminded us that all aspects of life in a Catholic school are rooted in the message of the Gospel. In her words at the end of Mass, Gemma shared the verse from Philippians 4:13

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
