Over 800 pupils from schools across the Diocese gathered for the annual Good Shepherd Celebration at Worth Abbey on Thursday 18 June.

Diocesan Director of Education, Julie Oldroyd, explains that "We focused on the Gospel of the Calming of the Storm and were reminded that the anchor, a powerful symbol for Christians, remains an expression of our hope in Christ.

"Each school presented their own decorated 'Legacy of Hope' anchor to Monsignor Tony Barry, who celebrated the service. We were also able to present Missio with a cheque representing the charitable giving from our diocesan schools."

Thanks to those schools who led our service and all who had a part in making it such a joyful gathering.
