Bishop Richard presents "40 Year Scrolls" to long-standing East Grinstead Catenians

L-R: Larry Newman, President, East Grinstead Catenians; Richard Mills, National Vice President of the Catenian Association; Richard Hawkins and Max Siwicki; Bishop Richard

On Friday 12 December, the East Grinstead Catenians held their annual Clergy Night dinner and, as well as hosting their parish priest Fr Jack Lusted, and Sarah Lusted, also welcomed Bishop Richard to this year's event.

Bishop Richard addressed those present, focusing in particular on his work as Liaison Bishop for Prisons for the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales, asking that we remember prisoners and especially their families in our prayers at Christmas, which can be a very difficult time for those affected.

Bishop Richard then presented "40 year scrolls" to two long-standing members of the East Grinstead Catenian Circle, Richard Hawkins and Max Siwicki, who in 2025 reached 40 years' membership of the organisation. Bishop Richard was joined in the presentation by National Vice President of the Catenian Association, Richard Mills.
