Children drawn from the 19 schools participating in our diocesan Schools Singing Programme - through school-day music sessions, after-school school choirs and Brighton Catholic Youth Choir, which brings together children in Years 3, 4, and 5 from across Brighton & Hove - have collaborated with our Choral Directors, Fraser Ellson and Claire Gale, to produce this year's digital Christmas card from the diocesan Education Service.

The Schools Singing Programme (SSP) aims to enrich existing provision across participating diocesan primary schools by offering world-class, inclusive music programmes which transform students’ musical education.

Throughout Advent, SSP groups have been participating in Advent liturgies and anticipating the Christmas celebrations to come. Their final event of the season will be the Crib Mass at Worth Abbey at 3pm on Christmas Eve, where children from St Robert Southwell and St John the Evangelist, Horsham, and Brighton Catholic Youth Choir will sing together. All are welcome to attend this beautiful Mass.
