The business and economics department offers the following courses at Key Stage 4 (KS4) and Key Stage 5 (KS5):

‍

- GCSE Business (AQA)

- A Level Economics (AQA)

- A Level Business (AQA)

- Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Business (OCR)

The department is a popular choice for students at both KS4 and KS5, with numbers increasing in all courses. At A Level, it runs two classes in years 12 and 13 for economics and one for business. It currently runs seven GCSE classes in both year 10 and year 11. CTEC Business is also well established with classes in both years 12 and 13. The department has grown significantly over recent years and currently has six teaching staff. The department prides itself on its results, subject knowledge, extracurricular activities and additional support its provides to all students.
