Hours: 10 hours per week, flexible hours, may include weekend working

Salary: Pro-rata for hours worked equates to £7,384 pa (plus London allowance for those living in London postcodes)

Workplace: Working from home and at occasional venues, for example at Council meetings, AGM, other Community events

Travel: Some travel may be required; travel expenses reimbursed

Purpose of the role

The Website & Social Media Coordinator is a member of The Lay Community of St Benedict (LCSB) Communications team and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the LCSB website and the delivery of engaging social media content aimed at a variety of audiences.

Working under the direction of the Head of Communications, the postholder will help ensure that the Community's website and social media channels communicate the life, values, mission and vision, and activities of the LCSB in a consistent, engaging and professional way, to members and those exploring Benedictine spirituality.

The postholder will work closely with the Head of Communications, volunteers and Community members to gather, create and publish digital content, ensuring that all communications align with the agreed overall communications strategy and communications plans.
