St Philip's is a Catholic primary school in the Diocese of Arundel & Brighton and is in the early stages of applying to join the Bosco Catholic Education Trust. The school's children are known for their academic achievement, positive attitudes and good behaviour. The staff are dedicated to nurturing the individual talents of all the children in the school.

St Philips is a one-form entry school and has a nursery department within its Early Years setting. The school enjoys extensive grounds with views across the rural landscape. There is a small forest area which is currently being developed. The school has a good relationship with the parish church which is next to the school and hopes to build on this. It also has regular contact with other local schools.

The school currently has a part-time Acting Head Teacher, and an Interim Head Teacher for one day each week. The governors are looking for a new leader who will inspire and encourage their community towards further growth. They have established a solid foundation and need someone with the vision and passion to extend their good practice further.
