The Governors wish to appoint an organised, experienced and skilful Examinations Officer to work alongside a team of colleagues who deliver exceptional service to students and teaching staff in this large school. The successful applicant will help deliver a wide range of assessment and examination processes offered in the School and College and will join a highly effective, supportive and organised department. Opportunities for career progression and management responsibilities are encouraged and supported through a continuous professional development programme.
The school's exam process is digital, and ICT skills are crucial to the role alongside the ability to be proactive and work in a diverse and energetic environment. The role includes the logistical aspects of Public and Pre-public examinations, managing the secure preparation of all examination materials, and the analysis and publication of examination results and reports.
The ideal candidates will:
- Have demonstrable experience of working in an office-based role
- Possess excellent organisational, communication and numerical skills and the ability to display sensitivity when handling difficult situations
- Have a high level of computer literacy and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications
- Possess the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
