The Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA) has commissioned the services of the Social Care Institute for Excellence (Scie) to review the safeguarding policies and procedures of the Catholic Church, this work has now commenced.
To ensure that the review team, together with associated reference groups, take into consideration as many views as possible, it is requested that as many people from our Church community complete the survey. The CSSA want to hear from people across all areas and levels within dioceses, parishes, religious life groups (RLGs), the Religious Life Safeguarding Service (RLSS), and victims and survivors, about their experiences of using existing safeguarding policies and practice guidance.
This is an opportunity to help shape the future of safeguarding within the Catholic Church and make representations where it is evident - or perceived - that current policies and procedures:
